SAS Logistics Ltd is a second-generation, veteran-owned third-party logistics (3PL) company with deep roots in Tanzania’s transport industry. The business traces its origin to the 1970s, when the founding family established one of the country’s early logistics enterprises. In 2006, the business was formally restructured and incorporated as SAS Logistics Ltd, marking a strategic expansion into modern, compliant logistics services.
We specialize in the handling, clearance, and transportation of both dangerous goods including Ammonium Nitrate, explosives, and chemical reagents and non-dangerous cargo, with a strong focus on the mining and extractives sector. From a modest start with 9 trucks, SAS Logistics has grown into a national leader with a fully owned fleet of 160 trucks, ranging from 3 to 30 tons. We continue to invest in fleet, infrastructure, and safety systems to support cross-border and domestic logistics.
