Our Facilities

SAS Logistics is headquartered in Dar Es Salaam, where we manage our administration, operations, and a sophisticated maintenance facility for our truck fleet. Our office is strategically situated on a major highway, just about 10 kilometers from the Dar Es Salaam port.

This prime location is surrounded by essential port extension facilities, including inland container depots and warehouses, which facilitate seamless cargo pickup and deliveries to and from the Port of Dar Es Salaam.

In light of future growth and expansion opportunities, SAS Logistics is planning to develop a new Head Office. This new facility will encompass a state-of-the-art truck yard capable of accommodating 60 trucks, as well as additional warehousing space for cargo consolidation.

SAS Kahama warehouse is strategically located opposite Buzwagi mine 30 kms from Isaka Dry port and Isaka Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The facility has 15,000 square meters of build-up area which could be efficiently utilized for keeping loose cargoes and other materials such as fertilizers, cements, machinery, reagents, spares parts, agricultural goods etc.

The facility can also host and store containerised cargoes meant for onward transhipment. Depending on business needs, this company owned facility can also be used as bonded warehouse storage area for goods under customs control which are meant for export as well as consolidations.

Kahama warehouse is also near major mining operations such i.e., Bulyanhulu Gold Mine (65kms), Geita Gold Mine (140kms), Buzwagi Gold Mine (1 kms) and Kabanga Nickel Project (180kms). The facility is also 300 kms from TZ – Rwanda Rusumo border.
